How difficult is it to prove a slip and fall injury case?

Posted on January 12th, 2010 No Comments

When individuals are injured from slipping  and falling on another’s property, they may have cause to file a personal injury lawsuit.

Proving a slip and fall case, however, requires showing that the property owner had knew that some part of the property may cause the individual to slip and fall and did not notify the plaintiff of the hazard.

Such hazards could include ice on the driveway or other unmarked hazards on the property. If such hazards exist on a property, property owners are advised to either fix the hazard or ensure that all visitors are made aware of the hazard.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in a slip and fall accident, contact Your Iowa slip and fall injury lawyers of LaMarca & Landry, P.C., at 877-327-2600.
