The Iowa House approved a texting while driving ban Tuesday. The 64-31 vote sent a message that a majority of representatives are aware of the dangers of texting while driving.
With the house approval, the bill will need to be approved by the Senate, which will likely consider it in the next few weeks. Some lawmakers expect that the Senate may revise the bill slightly.
