Baby, two others injured in ATV accident

A young child waas injured in an ATV accident last week. According to police reports, the ATV accident occurred in Kosciusko County.

The driver of the ATV apparently was trying to turn the ATV on the side of a hill, but the ATV slid down the hill and hit two trees. When medical officials arrived, the driver and another passenger were treated at the scene, while a baby was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Woman dies in ATV accident

A woman was riding an all-terrain vehicle when she fell off it and was killed in the accident Saturday. Cynthia Petshe of Monona was spending the afternoon in Allamakee County when the accident occurred.

When medical officials arrived at the scene, Petshe was still alive. However, she died at a nearby hospital hours later. Police officials said they are still uncertain what caused the victim to fall off the ATV and are still investigating the accident.
