Erin C. Bird’s practice includes personal injury and worker’s compensation. Mrs. Bird joined the Firm in September 2013. She gained two years of valuable mentoring and practical experience as part of LaMarca Law Group, P.C.’s well-respected clerkship program.
Mrs. Bird attended Drake University Law School and received her Juris Doctor degree with high honors in May 2013. Because Mrs. Bird was ranked in the Top 10% of her graduating class, she was elected as a member of the Drake Law School Chapter of the Order of the Coif. In addition, Mrs. Bird received the “Top A” in two courses. During law school, she was selected to serve as an Associate Editor for the Drake Law Review and as a research assistant to Professor Peter Yu.
Before attending Drake Law School, Mrs. Bird graduated from the University of Illinois in 2009 with a B.A. in psychology. She was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Society and the Pre-Law Society. In 2008, Mrs. Bird studied psychology and sociology at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
Mrs. Bird is licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.
When not practicing law, Mrs. Bird enjoys cooking, skiing, and traveling. She is a fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, White Sox, and Bears.
