Andrew Heiting-Doane’s practice areas include civil litigation and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Heiting-Doane attended Central College in Pella, Iowa. In 2004, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude and with Honors. Mr. Heiting-Doane graduated from Drake University Law School with High Honors. He earned the distinctive grade of “Top A” in four law school courses.
Andy has now been honored as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” by U.S. News and World Report. Only the top 5.3% of all practicing lawyers in the U.S. were selected by their peers for inclusion on this list. Mr. Heiting-Doane is licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.
Andy is an Eagle Scout. He volunteers as a pro bono attorney with Iowa Legal Aid, Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice, and other nonprofits. Mr. Heiting-Doane is a member of the Iowa Association for Justice. He was selected by the Iowa State Bar Association to serve on its Ethics & Practice Guidelines Committee and served on that committee for several years.
Andy loves spending time with his family. His favorite activity is attending concerts and music festivals with his wife, Jana. Andy also enjoys sport climbing and weightlifting. In high school and college, Andy worked as a salesman and mechanic in his father’s bicycle shop, and he still enjoys recreational cycling as well as hiking and other outdoor activities. Andy reads Marvel comic books every day and loves Dungeons & Dragons. Andy is a “foodie” who loves local restaurants, food trucks, and especially local bakeries.
