Three Wisconsin men were injured in an Iowa truck accident Thursday.
According to officials with the Grand County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Highway 20, just west of Dike. Police say 24-year-old Marquette-resident Chad Laurich was driving a pickup truck that went off the roadway and struck a guardrail. The truck then went airborne, struck an embankment, and landed in a creek.
Laurich and two passengers, 31-year-old Milwaukee-resident Matt Roth and 35-year-old Cecil-resident Shawn LeMere, were injured in the accident. All three were transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. No information on the nature or extent of their injuries is available.
